TSV SCHOTT Mainz runs padel at the Otto-Schott-Sportzentrum in Mainz-Gonsenheim, bringing the first dedicated padel courts to the Rhineland-Palatinate state capital. The tennis department launched the discipline in 2022 with modern outdoor lanes beside the club's long-established tennis programme. The club pitches padel as a community sport with structured coaching for beginners, youth pathways, team competition, and corporate events. Three outdoor courts sit within one of Germany's larger multi-sport Vereine, which also hosts football, handball, hockey, and many other sections. Visitors can book without joining the wider club, making it a practical option for Mainz residents and Wiesbaden–Frankfurt players who want outdoor padel close to the city.
Facilities
Create a booking account on the TSV SCHOTT padel portal—no club membership required for court hire. Non-member rates per hour are eighteen euros from 08:00–12:00, twenty-two euros from 12:00–16:00, and twenty-six euros from 16:00–22:00 plus weekends and public holidays. Tennis members with padel playing rights use courts within their membership contribution; guest fees still apply when they bring outside players. Top up two hundred euros credit and receive ten percent bonus (two hundred twenty euros playable). Members book up to fourteen days ahead; non-members up to ten days (except court one). Cancel at least twenty-four hours before play for account credit.

A very nice padel court at the TSV Schott sports club. A very well-maintained glass court that's simply fun to play on. Unfortunately, there's only one court so far, hence the one-star deduction 😉
Definitely the most beautiful, because it's the only padel court in Mainz! Bookable for both members and non-members of TSV Schott.
It's great that there's an outdoor padel court in Mainz. A few court and glass defects still need to be fixed, and then everything will be tip-top.
