PadelCity Wiesbaden is the Hessen outpost of the Munich-based PadelCity franchise, on Oppelner Straße in the Wiesbaden-Erbenheim area west of the city centre. The site packs eight padel courts — four indoor and four outdoor — into a modern complex with café, pizza and post-match drinks. It hosts PadelCity events including Red Bull-branded tournaments and draws players from the Rhine-Main region around Frankfurt and Mainz. Google reviews are mixed on reception wait times and winter outdoor-court communication, but most praise court quality and the friendly core team led by club manager Markus Erdmann.
Facilities
Weekday indoor hire is €34 per hour before 16:00 and €40 from 16:00; outdoor is €28 off-peak and €34 peak. Weekends and public holidays are €40 indoor and €34 outdoor all day. Pay via PayPal, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in the app. Free cancellation within 60 minutes of booking; 3% fee before 24 hours; full charge inside 24 hours. Great service, amazing manager.
Great courts, both indoor and outdoor. We're there often to play. I was there recently for the Red Bull tournament.
I can only agree with the previous reviewers: there seem to be some kind of loophole, so the indoor courts are always fully booked. This not only prevents fairness but also hinders the growth of the sport. If I, as a beginner, barely get a chance to train, it will remain a small, niche community. Otherwise, the team is uncomplicated and friendly, for example, with racket rentals and the café.
There were four of us at the padel court, and we arrived about 10 minutes before our booked time. We were already at the counter five minutes before our scheduled start time to register. One employee was on the phone, which is perfectly understandable. However, the other employee seemed very unfriendly from the start and spent a considerable amount of time setting up the Wi-Fi for a customer. In total, we had to wait at the counter for about 15 minutes before we were even served. During this time, I was talking to my colleague when the employee (short to shoulder-length hair, glasses, around 55 years old) interrupted our conversation uninvited and in a very rude manner. Her tone was aggressive and completely inappropriate – you simply can't speak to customers like that. We have rarely experienced such a tense and disrespectful atmosphere. At no point did we feel welcome. What was particularly frustrating was that, despite arriving on time, we weren't simply processed quickly, but instead had to wait a long time while other things were prioritized. In the end, we were even told we should arrive earlier if we wanted to play on time – even though we were already there ahead of schedule. Are we supposed to show up an hour early in the future just to make sure we get on the court on time? That's definitely not how you imagine a relaxed start to the season.
Our experience at Sport Healthy Club today was, unfortunately, more than disappointing. This wasn't our first time there – quite the opposite: we've been there many times to play padel and have always enjoyed our visits. It's all the more incomprehensible to us how they can treat long-standing and loyal customers in such a situation. We had booked an outdoor court and drove 25 kilometers each way. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the court was unplayable due to snow. What's particularly frustrating for us is that the outdoor courts weren't marked as closed online. There was absolutely no indication to us that the court was snowed in and therefore unusable. So, we drove a total of 50 kilometers completely unnecessarily – an effort that could easily have been avoided with a little organization. Even more disappointing, however, was the service at reception. The mature, brown-haired woman there was extremely unfriendly, curt, and showed absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Instead of showing understanding for our situation or at least communicating respectfully and objectively, we were addressed in an inappropriate tone. Instead of a solution-oriented approach, we received only curt replies. Our polite request for a small gesture of goodwill—for example, in the form of a voucher or compensation for the travel expenses incurred—was completely rejected. Mistakes can happen, especially in winter weather conditions. But in such moments, one expects at least friendliness, professionalism, and a minimum level of customer service. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. This incident completely ruined our enjoyment of playing there. It's regrettable that a single conversation can so permanently damage the overall impression. After this experience, we will no longer play there and will share our experience with our friends and family. It's a real shame—because we always enjoyed coming there.
