Padelarena Mendig opened in 2025 on Robert-Bosch-Straße in the Mendig industrial estate, between Koblenz and the Eifel volcano region. Operator Jesper T. Schlich built three outdoor courts from scratch: two standard doubles and one dedicated singles court with glass and mesh walls. The focus is community sport rather than elite competition. Families, beginners and groups from Mendig and the wider Mayen-Koblenz area book for fun rather than rankings. A compact clubhouse handles check-in, free HEAD racket loans, and a card-payment drinks machine. Access is self-service via a personal gate code sent after booking, with floodlights switching on automatically when needed.
Facilities
Courts book through the arena website. Double courts cost 28 euros per hour on weekdays from 7h to 16h, or 32 euros at evenings, weekends and public holidays. The singles court runs 20 euros off-peak and 24 euros peak on the same schedule. Registered users can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours ahead; guest bookings cannot. Gift vouchers and discounted credit top-ups are sold online. The venue runs themed events such as kids camps and social evenings (Männerhort). Open daily 7h to 22h.
