Membership & Pricing

Clube de Padel sits under the Ponte 25 de Abril on Lisbon's Doca de Santo Amaro, with the Tagus river on one side and one of Portugal's most recognisable bridge views on the other. Widely regarded as a pioneer of padel in Portugal, the club is padel-only and runs six semi-covered panoramic glass courts with high-end floodlighting — a setup reviewers describe as "covered outdoors" that plays well in most weather. The location is part of the appeal: you are literally beneath the bridge deck, which means some traffic noise but also a setting unlike anywhere else in the city. Courts on the waterfront side need care — errant balls can end up in the river. The clubhouse has separate men's and women's changing rooms, a bar with terrace, a pro shop and WiFi. The school focuses on bringing new players into the sport, with coaching, accompanied games, workshops, initiation clinics and organised matchmaking. Book through Playtomic; prices run a little above the Lisbon average, which most visitors accept for the setting.

Facilities

Court booking via Playtomic (playtomic.com/clubs/clube-de-padel-alcantara). Group court hire packages also sold through partners such as Odisseias (1-hour slot for four players with balls included). Racket rental around €2 on site.

Very nice place to play padel with friends. The court is very nice and the location is very unique. It’s a bit pricy and there is a lot of noise from the bridge but it’s still nice to play. Be careful if you are playing on the side of the port since if the ball goes out of the court it can fall into the water. Overall nice place to play padel and you can get a drink afterwards at the bar

I had an amazing experience there and can only recommend the place for training sessions. Dope atmosphere under the bridge! :-)

nice padel court just below the bridge with iconic views. prices are little bit more expensive than usual & also noise level is a little bit higher, but definitely worth to play there!

Booked a group padel class via Playtomic on Jan 6, three weeks ago, for today (Jan 28) at 17:30 and 3 slots were free then. Today the class showed 5 players instead of 4. I contacted school via WhatsApp and asked why it’s like this, they immediately cancelled my spot, blamed Playtomic, saying it’s a bug (I suspect they made a mistake and overbooked themselves), then pushed buying club membership. No apology, no solution. They also cancelled my previous classes without reason. Why list slots on Playtomic if they just give priority to regulars and cancel advance bookings? Very unreliable and dishonest, would avoid.

Located next to Lisbon’s picturesque Doça de Santo Amaro, Club de Padel Alcantara offers a premier padel experience, combining high-end facilities and a vibrant community atmosphere. The club features six semi-covered, panoramic glass courts equipped with high-end lighting, ensuring optimal playing conditions regardless of the weather. The modern clubhouse includes separate men’s and women’s changing rooms, a bar and a pro shop, all set against the backdrop of the Tagus River and the iconic Ponte 25 de Abril bridge. It was a great idea to use this space under the bridge.
