Rackets Pro Academy EUL occupies the old sports zone inside Lisbon's Estádio Universitário de Lisboa at Cidade Universitária — billed as Portugal's largest racket centre. The padel setup is serious: twelve courts in total, six covered and six open-air, alongside seven outdoor tennis courts on fast surfaces (two with artificial grass). A boutique gym launched in 2017, a pro shop, renovated changing rooms, free private parking and a sports bar terrace that looks over the central tennis court and outdoor padel lanes. The padel academy draws on some of Portugal's best-known players as coaches, including Nuno Carvalho, Miguel Bárbara, Diogo Pires and Pedro Cunha under coordinator João Maria Castelo Branco. Students at Lisbon higher-education institutions get 30% off sports services, and academy members unlock preferential rates across the wider Rackets Pro group nationally. Book courts through Playtomic (migrated from AirCourts). Reviews are mixed on reception and booking reliability, and a few players flag strobing floodlights on outdoor courts after dark and excess sand on certain surfaces — the covered courts tend to fare better.

Unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk receptionist. Extremely rude and unprofessional attitude — not just once, but multiple times. Clearly lacks basic courtesy. Won’t be coming back because of this treatment. Curly hair
Nice place to play, certain courts have too much sands. Douche could be better.
The club is awesome, but outdoor courts are literally unusable after sunset. The lights on outdoors courts are installed incorrectly or not correctly maintained and cause phasing/strobing issues. Feels like playing padel at 30FPS. Indoors is ok
Won’t come back. Zero response from any coach, receptionists, or staff, no matter how many times i tried to reach them. I wanted to enroll in a weekly tennis class and it’s been almost 1 year that I’m trying to get a response from them, i even got the private number of the head coach, still no response. The receptionists are unfriendly too. No training on customer service. Edit: I finally got hold of the head coach, he told me to come for a trial class to test my level. When I came he wasn’t there (on a holiday) and no one from the staff knew about me having a trial class. After 30mins of waiting, I got a chance to join a super beginner class, (not my level so it wasn’t even fun..) with a coach that couldn’t care less and was always on his phone. After the class i thanked them, and of course, I never heard from them again. I’m not chasing them for another response, now that i’m sure I never want to enroll here.
We will not book a court there again. Very expensive vs. alternatives and bad service. Go to Clube de Ténis do Jamor for instance, it is way better... 1. Booking by phone failed: on Friday, I tried to book a court by phone for Saturday. Was told that there were no courts available and then I asked about Sunday and was told that there were courts available. I booked the court but when I arrived to the club on Sunday the receptionist told me that I had no booking for Sunday and that the staff had booked a court for me on Saturday... 2. Overlapping of people on the same court and giving priority to some customers over other: the receptionist at the club told me that they had a court available 30 mins later and I accepted to wait and paid for the court immediately (for a 1 hour match). In the middle of our match, a couple came to our court telling us that they had also booked that court and that the receptionist told us to move to another court nearby. Reason: that couple preferred our court over the other one, which was available for them. 15 minutes of playing lost with all this... 3. The receptionist was arrogant and was unable to apologize. She blamed us for not having a booking in the first place (their fault / incompetence) and found it normal to ask us to change court mid-game...
