Membership & Pricing
Club Social Matagrande is a private country club on Camino de la Matagrande in Antequera, a few minutes from the city centre and next to Hotel Antequera Golf. Padel is a major draw: the club runs eight courts in total, including one glass-walled panora court, four covered bays, and the rest open-air, all on artificial turf with floodlights for evening play. The padel section hosts regular tournaments and busy schools, and member demand often exceeds initial booking forecasts. Beyond padel you get four Plexipave tennis courts, futsal and football pitches, a multi-sport court, gym, three pools, petanque, minigolf, and barbecue zones. The feel is family-oriented rather than pay-and-play public: access is through buying a share and paying a monthly fee, with court bookings handled online at socios.clubmatagrande.com or the club app. Reception can set up login credentials. Phone +34 952 70 36 58.

nice place but too expensive to join
UNBELIEVABLE!!! They charge €3 for companions of participants in a SNP championship, the bar is closed, and they don't allow dogs inside. Unacceptable! They shouldn't participate in this championship...
If you want to go in and watch someone playing (family or not), they charge €3. Children too. It's a joke; they charge admission just to get in. I didn't know it was a museum, although, now that I think about it, the wall-mounted padel courts are.
I haven't gone for a morning swim in years, and honestly, I've felt really good: quiet, with a good atmosphere, and a tournament of 230 kids who aren't bothering you at all. Congratulations.
This private club is accessed by purchasing a share and paying a monthly fee. It has a family atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. Currently, guests are not allowed and reservations are required due to COVID-19. The club offers sports facilities including paddle tennis courts, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a football pitch. There is also an outdoor picnic area with barbecues, a children's and adults' swimming pool, and a restaurant and kiosk by the pool.
