The Real Club de Tenis de Gijón—listed on Google as Tennis Club Gijón—is a historic private members’ club in Somió that pairs elite tennis heritage with five covered padel courts in a leafy campus on Camino de los Rosales. Padel sits beside clay and hard tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, sauna, restaurant, social salon, ludoteca and terrace overlooking the outdoor courts. The padel school runs initiation, adult progression and competition pathways under coordinator Pablo González, using structured technical, tactical and mental training. Access is membership-based, giving padel a country-club feel rather than public drop-in hire.

Nice
Small parking area for cars and motorcycles, bicycle racks, and accessibility with a good ramp. I was only at the main entrance (November 2025), which appears to be completely renovated and improved.
Good facilities and well equipped, very well maintained courts😇🙏🏻🏅🇪🇸🏆
Private club with 7 clay tennis courts (3 of which are indoor), 3 porous asphalt hard courts, and 5 indoor padel courts. It features a playroom, swimming pools, a gym, a social club, a restaurant, a cafeteria, a TV room, a children's playroom, and a spectacular terrace overlooking the outdoor courts. All this in a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere.
