Review of the padel court and municipal swimming pool: MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL: Olympic-sized, with several lanes, some reserved for sprint swimming or using equipment. The water temperature is ideal, with neither excessive chlorine nor heat. The changing rooms are spacious and usually busy with children and mothers. Showers are shared. You are given a key to store your belongings in a locker (no padlock is necessary). There are water machines at the entrance. You need to present your citizen card or ID to access the facility. PADDLE TENNIS COURT: - It can be rented through the app; a citizen card is required. Rentals can be made for the same day or the following day, but no further advance notice is necessary. I recommend booking in advance due to limited availability. - There are two outdoor courts with artificial turf (be careful when it rains as it gets damp). They don't have glass walls, but rather concrete walls, and the metal mesh on the walls makes it difficult for the ball to bounce. - Only four people are allowed to play and access each court at a time. Even if a fifth person isn't playing, they cannot enter the facilities. - €3.40 with a sports pass or €4 without. - The courts aren't very high quality; there are better-equipped public padel courts.

Very good facilities. They have a multi-purpose sports hall that can be used for handball, indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and more. It also has four outdoor tennis courts and two outdoor paddle tennis courts, as there are no covered courts. There is one court without a net, as it is used for tennis activities for seniors. At the entrance, there are vending machines selling brunch food and water to replenish your energy after exercise. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The facilities have been updated and are much better adapted for people with reduced mobility. The changing rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean, with lockers for storing belongings.

It's regrettable that Llano Gijón is one of the few facilities that doesn't have a gym in this specific location. This raises questions about priorities regarding the provision of activities and services for residents. Why aren't neighborhood associations urging the City Council to provide a gym? What interests could be behind the lack of this type of facility? It's disappointing that Gijón doesn't have a gym in this location, even though it does offer other activities. This raises questions about the decisions made by the City Council and neighborhood associations. Why isn't the creation of spaces for physical activity and the well-being of residents prioritized?

I love it, I've signed my son up for summer activities for a couple of years now and we're very happy, since all the staff is very friendly.

I've been there several times to resolve administrative issues. The service and kindness were 10/10. Thank you very much.
