The football side is well documented: one full-size artificial pitch that can split into two seven-a-side pitches for matches and youth sessions. Padel directories list the site as Club Deportivo Municipal Matalascañas at the same Sector L address, and the town hall’s own sports school programme for Matalascañas includes dedicated padel groups. Expect a practical public facility rather than a private club vibe: shared sports ground, bar on site, and booking handled through Almonte’s municipal sports service.
Facilities
This is a municipal venue, not a private members’ padel club. Access is through the Ayuntamiento de Almonte sports service: court hire for casual play, plus places on the Escuelas Deportivas Municipales. For the Matalascañas programme, padel is offered for children in initiation, formation, and improvement groups, and for adults in a combined initiation/formation slot, typically midweek evenings. Sign-up runs online via the municipal sports portal (deportes.almonte.es) after you request a user account by email or by calling the sports service during weekday hours. Almonte town also runs a larger padel school at its inland polideportivo, so if Matalascañas groups are full you may be pointed there. Fees and any multi-session packs follow the municipal rate sheet rather than a club subscription; ask Deportes for the current padel hire price and school enrolment calendar before you travel, especially in peak summer when demand rises with the tourist population.

We received terrible treatment from a man at the bar; the service was awful and the staff was incredibly rude. The facilities offered no shade whatsoever for either spectators or players, and the grass desperately needs replacing—it was covered in black pellets. We were at the women's tournament, and I never saw the grass watered during the five days; it was like sandpaper.
Bad experience because they're organizing a tournament, and the facilities don't have shade for families or children. Bar services are overpriced for what they offer.
We visit it every year; it's great for playing sports, football, and padel. The person who runs it is lovely. 100% recommended.
Perfect, it has several goals so it can adapt to any team. It's phenomenal, and it has exquisite service.
Great facilities and the service is even better. I would improve the cleanliness in some parts of the sports center.
