Membership & Pricing

Ureca is a members' sports and social club in Nigrán on the Rías Baixas coast near Vigo, operating since 1953 on a 24,000-square-metre campus at Rúa Manuel Lemos 124. Padel has become one of the club's busiest sections: five courts—three outdoor and two covered—support a school with more than 150 pupils, five teams in the Liga Gallega de Pádel and roughly one hundred federated players. Summer padel tournaments draw over six hundred participants and rank among the area's signature seasonal events. The club is family-oriented rather than padel-only: five outdoor tennis courts, an artificial-turf football pitch, a gym with personal training, a summer swimming pool, guest apartments, gardens with barbecue areas and a restaurant-café with terrace all share the grounds. Google lists the venue as Ureca Padel Club, but the official brand is simply Ureca.

The club is very well-maintained and has a pool where small children can also swim. When new people arrive, they are always welcomed with open arms. The restaurant has excellent waitstaff and the food is delicious. The only thing they could improve a little would be to create a more teen-friendly environment. But I'm still very happy.

A top spot for summer. Plenty of activities to choose from, including a swimming pool, paddle tennis courts, and a football pitch. Ideal for birthday celebrations. Ample space, parking, and green areas.

Great service and good food. It's especially great in summer to enjoy all the outdoor activities it has to offer.

Ureca is that place you go to one day hoping to spend some quiet time… and you end up wanting to return again and again. It has something special. Perhaps it's the atmosphere, the way the facilities are designed, or that feeling that, whatever stage of life you're in, there's always something for you and your family. The sports areas are truly well-maintained: the swimming pool, the gym, the tennis and paddle tennis courts, the soccer field… Everything is in excellent condition, and you can see the constant effort to maintain and even improve it. And the best part is that it doesn't matter if you're 7 or 70 years old: there are activities for everyone, without having to look too hard. But if anything makes the difference, it's the people. From the staff at administration to those in charge of maintenance, they always greet you with a smile and a kind word. It's not just professional politeness: you can tell they do it with genuine enthusiasm. The instructors who work with the children are approachable, attentive, and patient. They make the children feel safe and, above all, have fun. And that's not always easy. And then there's the restaurant. Montse and her team—I won't name everyone because it would be unfair to leave anyone out—have a knack for making you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. The menu is extensive, with dishes designed to suit all tastes (especially for children, but not forgetting the rest of the family), and the excellent, meticulous preparation makes ordering a real challenge. The dining room is warm and inviting, and the terrace is perfect for relaxing with a coffee, a light dinner, or simply letting time slip by while the kids play nearby. In short: Ureca is more than just a social club. It's a well-run, family-friendly place, full of thoughtful touches that make it special. A place you just want to be. Highly recommended.

Uncontrolled access. Non-members constantly enter. The pool's green areas are completely neglected, with all the grass in terrible condition. The pool is overcrowded, partly due to the lack of control.
