Great place for kids!
We participated in the Pitch & Putt World Championship, World Championship Galicia. The facilities are very good, the course is very new in a beautiful setting, the course is somewhat technical due to its greens, beautiful trees, everything is very well maintained. We had a great time these past few days. The staff was very friendly. It's a shame you can only play on that course if you're a member or there's a tournament.
I was there for the 2024 Pitch & Putt World Championship. A sophisticated club with pools, cricket, tennis, and a relatively new 18-hole pitch & putt course.
Very large club, nice facilities. Doorman at the entrance, the ceiling on the padel courts is a bit low, but everything else is great.
My daughter went to a party at the Country Club for 14- to 16-year-olds. They called it the Turkey Party, and it cost €25 per person, including dinner. To add a touch of "glamour," the kids were required to dress formally: long dresses for the girls and shirts with jackets for the boys. What they didn't tell you was what the €25 dinner would consist of: a hot dog with one sausage, four fries, and a Coca-Cola (I've attached a photo in case you don't believe me). And for dessert, some mass-produced ice cream, like Frigo brand. And to top it all off, to make matters worse, any drinks the guests ordered during the party (non-alcoholic, of course, since they were minors) had to be paid for separately. I should clarify that I don't like to leave negative reviews. With this review, I'm not judging the club's facilities, which I assume are fine, but rather the party they organized. For 25 euros, it seems like a complete rip-off with such a basic dinner. And they weren't even allowed a measly Coca-Cola or Fanta to refresh themselves during the evening. A McDonald's meal would have been better (and I don't even like those fast-food chains). I think an institution like the Country Club should consider the image it projects with a party like this. Even if they're young people who don't need a gala dinner with fancy dishes, a varied spread of tortillas, croquettes, empanadas, crisps, olives, and a few other bits and pieces, like you'd find at any birthday party, would have been much better. I don't know if the goal was to raise money, but judging by the result, that's what it seems like.
