Complexo Deportivo de Samil is a municipal sports complex run by the Vigo sports institute (IMD) on Avenida de Samil, right beside Samil beach. Three outdoor padel courts with artificial-turf surfaces sit alongside twelve hard tennis courts and a synthetic football pitch in one of the city's most scenic sporting locations. Online booking through deportes.vigo.org makes it one of the easiest and cheapest ways to play padel in Vigo—around 3–4 € per hour with multi-session bonos available. The padel courts are open-air municipal facilities rather than a private club, so there is no bar or pro shop on site, but the beach-side setting is hard to beat. Maintenance opinion is split: some visitors report recently improved courts while others flag worn surfaces and fencing on the padel zone. Private coaching on these courts is not permitted under municipal rules.

Facilities

Padel and tennis courts booked through the Vigo municipal sports portal (deportes.vigo.org)—register for an account to reserve. Affordable public rates with bonos (e.g. ten sessions around 28 € reported for tennis/padel). Maximum two consecutive hours for groups of four; one hour for pairs. Private lessons not allowed on municipal courts. Cancellations accepted up to twenty minutes before the slot.

Easy place to play tennis. Very nice and open and friendly staff

The tennis courts are in a deplorable state. Half of them are unfit for competition, and only a few elements are renovated for international tournaments. Maintenance is also poor. A complete renovation would be ideal.

Today is the first time I'm going to play tennis and the truth is that Mr. Conrrado and his companions made our visit very pleasant and enjoyable, recommended 👌🏼

The only downside is the management of the company that recently started operating in the complex. Everything else reminds me of the movie "this house is a ruin".

It has 12 tennis courts and 3 padel courts, but the latter are in a deplorable state. The playing surface is extremely worn and covered in moss, branches, and other vegetation. Furthermore, the fencing is rusted and in very poor condition, as can be seen in the photo. The local council should carry out maintenance urgently because it is dangerous for users to play there in these conditions.
