Membership & Pricing
León Padel Club (LPC) opened in September 2011 in the Trobajo del Camino industrial estate on the edge of San Andrés del Rabanedo, León. It is one of the larger indoor padel halls in the city, with a WPT-spec central court and a dedicated singles training court. The club targets both casual bookings and regular players through Playtomic and phone reservations. Coaching with Jorge gets strong mentions from corporate groups. Service and pricing draw mixed reviews — some players find it the priciest option in León, while others value the central show court and shop.

Good
First and last time. Let me explain: the manager showed up at 9:40 to open the court, even though the match was scheduled for 9:30. This delayed the start by 15 minutes. Any explanations or apologies? Absolutely none. We couldn't finish our match because the next reservation (who were completely innocent) arrived on time (11:00). Were there any alternatives to continuing our game on another court that had started at 10:00 when they would have finished? No. Furthermore, the condition of the courts leaves much to be desired, both in terms of ball bounce and wear and tear on the high-traffic areas (the service court). This isn't about price; it's about running a business properly.
I'm giving it one star because it won't let me give it zero. The courts are very close together and there's hardly any space between them. Also, the ceilings aren't very high, so the game isn't smooth at all. Despite that, if the service were good, there wouldn't be any problems, but in this case, there's not even that. There's nobody in the cafeteria at any time, they charge a fee for paying by card without warning, and it's incredibly expensive. And if you stay 10 minutes longer, they charge you as if it were an extra hour of play—the complete opposite of other padel clubs in León. So, overall, a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend it at all.
There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, no soap, the hand dryer didn't work, the court was patchy and uneven, the most expensive in León, plus they charged us 1 euro more per person for extending our stay by 15 minutes, and 10 cents more for a commission for paying by card (just to mention an anecdote). Honestly, it's the worst place I've ever played in, all around.
I've been training at this club for almost two months now. There are four of us coworkers, and from the very first minute, Jorge, the coach, has treated us very well. He trains us with a lot of patience, is dedicated to his work, and we're very happy with the service, the price, and of course, besides learning to play padel, which is the main goal. We really enjoy going because the classes are dynamic, super fun, and very educational. In addition to the training, he often mentions that we can continue playing on a court if one is free (a nice touch). The service is wonderful; highly recommended.
