Pistas de padel municipales Veguellina are two public outdoor courts at the Polideportivo de Veguellina de Orbigo, managed by the Ayuntamiento de Villarejo de Orbigo in rural Leon. They sit on Avenida del Paramo beside the municipal camping area and the river, within a wider sports hub that includes football pitches, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, playgrounds and summer pools. The courts opened in late 2021 to expand padel in the Orbigo valley and complement the Copa Diputacion de Leon amateur circuit that visits nearby towns.
Facilities
Court use is free but must be booked in advance through Sportclick under Polideportivo Veguellina (Villarejo de Orbigo). Sessions run for ninety minutes per booking. Contact the Veguellina office on 987 37 60 14 or the main ayuntamiento for help with registration on the booking platform. The municipal website at aytovillarejodeorbigo.es covers local services.
