Membership & Pricing

Squash Santiago Club de tenis is a long-running multi-sport club based in Milladoiro (Ames), just outside Santiago de Compostela in A Coruña. Founded in 1982 around squash, it now pairs fitness and swimming with a full racket programme that includes padel, tennis and squash. The organisation runs three sites — Milladoiro, a centre in Santiago de Compostela, and a Club de Tenis in Teo — and padel court hire is centred on the Milladoiro complex. It is a well-known local option for padel near Ames and Santiago, with schools for children, adults and competition players as well as casual court hire.

Facilities

Padel, tennis and squash courts are booked through Playtomic online, by phone or at reception, and must be reserved and paid before play. A basic membership gives access to the Milladoiro, Santiago and Teo centres, free group classes at Santiago and Milladoiro (subject to space), pool use outside swim-class slots, and member rates for racket courts via the club’s online booking account. Monthly fees are taken by direct debit. Members can switch to a maintenance quota for up to three months a year to keep their place without using the facilities; during that time court hire is charged at the non-member rate. Playtomic also sells wallet top-ups (bono monedero). The Escuela de Tenis y Pádel 2más runs padel and tennis lessons for all ages and levels, including competition pathways.

It's a good tennis and padel club. The staff is very friendly. The tennis lessons are very good. In my opinion, they need to improve the condition of the outdoor tennis courts, as they are already deteriorating.

The tennis club is in a truly excellent location, and should have better-maintained facilities than they are. The pool and the balloon are well-maintained and well-used, but the rest of the tennis courts need repairs. The padel courts are quite good and well-maintained. They have an additional problem: the cafeteria/bar changes hands frequently and has strange hours. The staff at the 2mas tennis and padel school is very good. They've renovated the tennis courts, and they've improved!
