Union Padel Basel Hafen occupies a converted Gondrand logistics warehouse on Uferstrasse in Basel's Klybeck harbour quarter, with the Rhine a few steps from the door. Five panoramic indoor courts spread across more than 2,000 square metres under a nine-metre ceiling—a setup Union Sport designed for year-round play, cool in summer and warm in winter. The hall leans into a distinctive atmosphere: dark walls, blue court lighting and a social bar area where players linger after matches. Union positions padel as much about community as competition, with a growing Basel player base from beginners through league regulars. The site runs largely unattended, so booking and check-in happen through Playtomic. PadelUp runs the on-site academy programme.

Very reasonably priced, great atmosphere. Fun Dungeon vibe, the radiant blue lights up the court well, despite pitch black ceiling and walls.. Had the privilege to meet one of the founders, I believe his name was Moritz. Very passionate lad, gave me a run down of the place. Great place to linger around afterwards, enjoy a beer or two with the boys. Will be back 👌✌️
Modern courts and super nice staff. Prices are reasonable, I can definitely recommend this place!
