Membership & Pricing
Padel Basel Dreispitz is the Lyon-Strasse branch of the Padel Basel association, set inside a century-old wooden warehouse in Basel's Dreispitz district. The venue runs on a 'serve and chill' ethos: low-threshold sport, social energy and repeat visits rather than a glossy commercial club. One indoor padel court fills the historic hall, giving a distinctive industrial atmosphere that regulars describe as part of the charm. The organisation also operates a separate Klybeck site and positions itself as a community-driven project where membership supports affordable court access across Basel. Courses for children and adults run through independent coaches, and the hall can be hired for events beyond standard court time.
Facilities
Book the Dreispitz court through Playtomic or the booking page on padel-basel.ch. Daily opening runs 07:00–00:00. Association membership costs CHF 150 per year and gives 25% off court hire at Padel Basel and Beach Basel sites, voting rights at the annual general meeting and a voucher for one free court rental on signup. Members pay their share via split payment; booking a full court for coaching may charge vacant spots at the regular rate afterward. Membership runs 12 months and is not cancellable early. Pay by TWINT (activation takes one to two working days) or bank transfer via the website form. Coaching: Oscar and Gonzalo for adult group or private lessons; Freddy for kids on Wednesday afternoons.

Extremely cold inside, most rackets are broken, disappointing. Follow up: I have also reached out to the owners of the court to provide feedback about my recent experience and asked if it can be addressed. The response really surprised me, with the last sentence in the email from the owners very well summing up their unprofessional attitude: "we suggest you play elsewhere in the future." I most definitely will go play elsewhere in the future and so will my friends. How disappointing!
Horrible experience, horrible management! So we made a reservation for 7 am (meaning we woke up before 6am) and when we got there, the key box didn’t work so we couldn’t get inside. We couldn’t be sure what is wrong (they sent us the wrong code, the box is broken or what). So obviously we tried to contact them. We had from them an obviously fake phone number plus an email address that they respond only whenever they feel like it. So we had to go back home. The eventual email exchange also wasn’t pleasant. As their way of being “fair” dictates, they don’t even pay you back! They ask you to get a wallet with them so that they can add a voucher for only one session. The email content suggested that it wasn’t their first issue. So in summary: if something goes wrong, you’re on your own! Even worse, you have to spend so much time with them to get stuff sorted out minimally.
Great and inexpensive place to play Padel! Rackets and balls available.
Fair prices, equipment provided at no costs (new balls for sale), drinks in the fridge and even a table tennis table next the padel court - Awesome!
Very nice place for playing padel, fair prices and has equipment available (balls, rackets…)
