Tennisclub Hausen am Albis added padel to its Albisbrunnweg site in January 2025, giving the Zürcher Albis foothills two new outdoor courts beside the club's four clay tennis lanes. The setting is properly green — members describe a well-kept clubhouse and courts that feel like a second home — and the padel surface is artificial carpet with floodlights so play runs until 22:00. With 360-plus members and six interclub tennis teams, the club already had community infrastructure; padel slots into that through GotCourts bookings, a WhatsApp partner-finder and coaching from certified trainer Dor Arnold. Pay-and-play guests get a door code for the clubhouse half an hour before play. One practical note from players: late-afternoon sun sits low behind the courts and can glare badly, so midday or evening sessions are easier on the eyes.
Facilities
Padel-only membership from CHF 450/year (CHF 175 first-year trial); tennis-and-padel combined from CHF 650 (CHF 375 trial). Juniors 8–18 CHF 100; under-25 CHF 200 padel-only. Members book freely on GotCourts; guests cost CHF 10 per hour when playing with a member. Pay-and-play without membership: CHF 40 per 60 minutes or CHF 60 per 90 minutes weekdays 07:00–17:00; CHF 50/75 at peak (weekday evenings and all weekend). Every padel booking needs four named players. Coaching via Dor Arnold at funpadel-meinsport.ch — trial lessons, group subscriptions and private sessions. Register on GotCourts with your own email. Very nice tennis/ paddle courts. My wife likes it so much it’s her second home….
We were there to play Padel, the courts are quite new and the area is really nice ... However, what is really unfortunate is that in the late afternoon the sunset is directly inline with the courts which is really bad on the eyes. I'd recommend playing there over lunch or after sunset.
