Padelarena Wädenswil claims the title of Switzerland's first indoor padel centre and has been shaping the sport nationally since 2017. The hall on Zugerstrasse 162 sits about twenty minutes south of Zurich on the Lake Zurich shore, with eight indoor courts under one roof—the largest padel footprint in the country according to the club. Playtomic names the lanes individually, from Padel 1 (MTR Equipments) through Padel 8 (Porsche Zentrum Oberer Zürisee). Beyond padel, the site runs two golf simulators year-round and a sports bar with nine screens for Champions League, hockey, tennis and padel broadcasts. The junior academy is a major part of the identity: more than sixty children train with three full-time coaches, and Playtomic describes it as the number-one junior academy in Switzerland. Weekly mix-ins, tournaments, holiday camps and a WhatsApp community keep hundreds of active members coming back. The atmosphere is deliberately social—many regulars treat the bar as a second living room after their match.
Facilities
Court hire is booked through Playtomic or the padelarena.ch reservation link. Weekday slots before 17:00 cost CHF 50 per hour; after 17:00 on weekdays CHF 64; weekends CHF 60 all day. Coaching is priced per person with court, rackets and balls included—one player from CHF 100 off-peak or CHF 120 peak for a one-hour lesson, dropping to CHF 45–55 per person in a group of four. Longer 90-minute and two-hour packages are listed on the website. The junior academy runs structured programmes with Fabrizio Pavez (academy director), Antoine Laurent and Alejandro Nieuwenhuis among the coaching team. Padel camps run during school holidays. With no space to lob no serious game can be played… the roof is way to low and therefore does not allow lobbing which is a shame because the rest of the hall is great
