The GF Sportcenter Grünfeld—listed on Google as Tennis Padel Badminton Squash Grünfeld—is the main racket-sport hub in Rapperswil-Jona on the upper Lake Zürich shore. Tennis remains the anchor, with three indoor carpet courts and five outdoor artificial-grass courts, but padel has a visible place on the outdoor terrace with two glass-walled courts sponsored by Porsche Zentrum Oberer Zürichsee. Padel here is pitched as approachable: the club describes it as two-thirds tennis and one-third squash, with wall play allowed and no prior experience required. The centre also runs badminton, squash, a fitness studio, physiotherapy and the Top Sport shop. A restaurant terrace looks out over the Alps, which makes the outdoor padel courts a scenic option from spring through autumn when weather allows year-round outdoor play.

Great tennis facility with well-maintained courts and a good sporty atmosphere. Definitely reserve in advance during winter — it gets fully booked quickly. Highly recommended.
The badminton court is good and seem always available. But the reception's service is quite bad: I was totally ignored when trying to speak English. Its fine that they don't speak English, I would try my German. However, after I greet her, the lady looked at me and turn around without even trying to reply anything ( if you don't count silence as a response). I in the end booked a court by scanning the barcode myself. I might come back, but would not bother to speak with the reception at all.
Amazing place, with very good prices and lots of options.
Very nice place!
Enjoyed my staying
