Rackets Academy Sion is the Valais capital outpost of a Swiss racket brand that pairs serious coaching with a social bar culture. Three indoor padel courts sit at Route de Préjeux 16, including two standard doubles lanes and a rarer indoor singles court for pairs who want a tighter lane. The Sion site is deliberately simpler than the flagship Salgesch campus with its spa and outdoor courts, but the same community playbook applies: WhatsApp groups by level, Early Marmots breakfast tournaments at 7am, and monthly mix-and-match evenings. Recent reviewers describe brand-new surfaces, a relaxed Valais welcome, and coaches who invest time rather than churning through volume bookings.
Facilities
Court hire through Playtomic, WhatsApp, or phone on +41 76 291 43 69. Official tournaments run under both Swiss Tennis Padel and Swiss Padel rankings. Weekly events, four interclub teams, kids courses, private coaching, MASTERclass camps, and corporate bookings are promoted on racketsacademy.ch. Partner-finding WhatsApp groups and Friday mix sessions help solo players fill courts. Bar hours are 5pm to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 6pm at weekends.

We are extremely satisfied with Rackets Academy in Sion. You immediately notice that this is not a place focused on mass processing, but on quality, long-term development and building a real community around the sport. The concept the owner is building is genuinely impressive. There is a strong and positive community growing here, with a professional but welcoming atmosphere. Everything feels very well thought out and focused on creating real value for players. I honestly wish there were more centres like this in Central Switzerland. During our language stay in the region, my colleague and I regularly drove around 50 km just to train there because the environment, organisation and overall quality were absolutely worth it. The coaches take their time, the level of training is excellent and you can tell that people truly care. Even when I forgot my WHOOP there, they found it immediately, kept it aside for me and were extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
