Membership & Pricing
Brakepoint Padel Club is Canterbury’s first dedicated padel centre, at Unit 4c Simmonds Road on the Wincheap Estate (CT1 3RA). Friends who love the sport built it as more than a hit-and-leave venue: three indoor courts under one roof with a café, pro shop and changing rooms so you can play, hang about and meet other players without waiting on the weather. Open daily from 6am to 11pm, it suits early sessions and late evening matches. The club leans social — coffee before or after, events and tournaments for members, and a welcome for beginners through regulars. Book via Playtomic (search Canterbury / Brakepoint Padel Club). Facilities
Non-members are welcome: book courts on the Playtomic app or website without joining. Membership unlocks discounted court rates plus member events, tournaments and socials; sign up in the membership section on Playtomic. An annual option offers 12 months for the price of 10. Academy classes cover a wide range of levels, ages and abilities and appear under the academy section in Playtomic — group sessions, 1:1 coaching and ladies options are part of the mix according to regulars. Started playing in January as a complete beginner and a month later I am a fully paid up member! Such a friendly set up, plenty of classes for all abilities, either group or 1:1, ladies lesson and coffee is an obvious win 🥇! The is no judging, it’s a very safe place to learn and being part of a community is really wonderful. Brand new facilities 3 🎾 courts, changing rooms, 🚿 , free parking 🚗 and the best flat white ☕️ for miles! You guys need to expand next door!
I’ve been coming to Brakepoint since it opened last Oct & the courts are very good, with a great range of socials and competitions! Nice to have some indoor courts locally & that serves a great flat white ☕️
Lovely staff taught us the rules of paddle and also played with us! Clean space, and really affordable will be back!
A great club, if your new to the game or just starting out like me and seem a bit apprehensive then don't be. Hamish and the team are open honest and helpful, you can hire your padel for minimal fee if you don't want to on spend out on all the gear (no idea) at first. Nice cafe and seating area, lots of parking. Also it spacious inside even with all that packed in that you won't get that awkward feeling waiting for your class/game. Be ready to get hooked.
Came to watch my brother play some games here. Very professional club where I’m going to give 10/10 for their excellent cappuccino’s. Better than Pret! 😘
