Racquet Garden is a countryside padel and wellness destination at Thoulstone Park in Chapmanslade, Wiltshire, between Bath and Warminster and a short drive from Frome. Three outdoor courts sit among wild borders and garden planting rather than in an industrial shed, which matches the club's slow-living pitch — social sport, long afternoons and a village-club feel. The estate also runs pickleball and positions itself as somewhere families and beginners can try padel without the urban rush. Sammy's Pizza serves wood-fired pies from a Citroën truck on the terrace Thursday through Sunday. Reviews since opening praise the passionate setup, community atmosphere and the contrast with generic indoor venues. For west Wiltshire and east Somerset players, Racquet Garden is the scenic alternative to booking another anonymous court.
