Membership & Pricing
Ribble Valley Tennis Centre on Edisford Road, Clitheroe (BB7 3LA) is a family-run multi-sport hub (Ribble Valley Tennis Centre Limited / Schofield family) that hosts the North West’s first dedicated indoor padel centre — bookable on Playtomic as Ribble Valley Padel Hub. Five indoor padel courts (three panoramic doubles plus two dedicated singles courts) sit alongside indoor tennis, outdoor multi-use courts and 3G football pitches. The model is strict pay-and-play: no membership tiers, reasonable prices, and free racket and ball hire that reviewers repeatedly call out as ideal for casual players and first-timers. Coaching includes LTA-qualified padel lessons (Chris Peet gets strong mentions) plus the centre’s long-standing tennis pathway under Mark Schofield. Social sessions and a friendly atmosphere make it a proper community venue rather than a warehouse-only experience. Do not confuse it with South Ribble Tennis and Fitness in Bamber Bridge (PR5) — this is the Clitheroe site.
Facilities
No membership required. Book padel on Playtomic (search Ribble Valley Padel Hub / Ribble Valley Tennis Centre). Pay for the slot you use; prepaid offers sometimes appear in-app. Tennis and football bookings may still go via phone/email/in person at the centre (07917 457861). Private and group coaching available — enquire for padel clinics and holiday camps. Free kit hire removes the usual beginner barrier; no need to buy a racket for your first session.

Reasonably priced compared to other courts, easy to book, and best of all, free equipment hire, so great for casual players
Ribble Valley Tennis Centre is a brilliant facility. I’ve loved my time playing padel here, great courts, friendly atmosphere, and well-run sessions. It’s a proper social place to play, and you always come away wanting another game.
We've just started playing Padel and found Ribble Valley great. Easy access and parking. Friendly welcome and inclusive bats and balls added bonus! Also just had lesson with Chris Peet which was excellent and really useful.
Great padel centre, well maintained, reasonable prices and no charge for rackets/balls so great for those wanting to try it out and give it a go.
Why does it smell so bad inside? Smells like wet football boots. Other than that it is a great little spot!
