Membership & Pricing
Goat Haus is Halifax’s first dedicated padel club, based on South Lane in Elland (HX5 0HJ) at the old Elland Metal Spinning Co site. It positions itself as a community hub rather than a pure court shed: doubles and singles padel sit alongside pickleball, Pilates classes, a coffee shop, and social bits like a run club and family padel days. Booking runs through Playtomic, with courts listed as AI Court, Courts 2–4 and a singles court. The tone on site and Instagram is casual and local — “built for Halifax, built for everyone” — and early Google reviews back that up with friendly reception staff, good coffee and solid courts. Beginner social padel sessions appear on the academy calendar at a low entry price, which helps if you are new and do not have a fixed four. Contact is info@goathaus.co.uk with a stated aim to reply within 24 hours.
Facilities
Two main Playtomic memberships sit on the club page. Founders Membership is £50 per month and is aimed at regulars: roughly four-week advance booking, £1 off every court booking, 20% off café purchases, priority at peak times, exclusive member events, and first access to coaching and clinics. Join The Herd is £30 per month and gives 20% off your individual share of each court booking (not the whole court fee), booking up to two weeks ahead, plus other member offers; academy sessions, coaching and events are not included in that discount. Membership is personal and monthly. Peak vs off-peak court prices vary by slot — at least one reviewer noted 30-minute vs hourly pricing felt inconsistent — so check live Playtomic rates before you book.

Came here today for the first time to play padel and had a really good time. The girl on reception was really friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. My only bit of constructive feedback is the pricing. I totally get that peak times are more expensive, but I couldn't really get my head around the 30-minute vs 1-hour prices. For example, if it's £20 for 30 minutes but £45 for an hour, it just doesn't seem to add up. I'd have thought the pricing would encourage people to book the hour instead. That said, I haven't knocked any stars off because we genuinely enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Overall, a great place with really friendly staff.
Great Padel centre with 4 doubles courts and a singles courts.
Class place, friendly staff, great coffee, great courts.
Quality venue.
We really enjoyed visiting Goat Haus for our first game. Great vibe. We weren’t sure if you could rent but yes you can!
