Game4Padel at Vauxhall Sports Club brings two covered padel courts to Rivacre Road / Hooton in Ellesmere Port (CH66 1NJ), on the Wirral side of the Mersey. The courts opened in August 2025 in partnership with Vauxhall Motors Sports Club and Game4Padel, and are open to the public on a pay-and-play basis rather than locked behind sports-club membership alone. The setup is straightforward: book on MATCHi, borrow a racket on site, bring your own balls, and play under weather-protecting canopies from 8am to 10pm. It suits casual games and regulars who want a simple local option without a full lifestyle-club package. Coaching, beginner Americanos and improver lessons sit alongside open hire for people still learning the sport.
Facilities
Non-members can book 7 days ahead; Game4Padel members get 10 days. Membership benefits include £2/hour discount per member on the booking, multi-venue Game4Padel access, offers on lessons and events, shop discounts at game4padel.shop, and eligibility for team representation. Family membership is listed at £13/month for at least two people at the same address. Per-player hourly prices on Matchi: weekdays 8am-5pm members £5 / non-members £7; weekdays 5pm-10pm and all weekend members £7 / non-members £9.
