The Padel Club Chester is the brand's major Cheshire expansion at Minerva House on Minerva Avenue off Sealand Road (CH1 4QL), about 1.5 miles from the city centre in a 37,500 sq ft former industrial unit. Official pages still say launching soon / opening 2026, so treat live court booking as pending until Playtomic listings go live — the Google pin is already up. The plan is one of the UK's bigger dedicated padel builds: eight premium indoor panoramic courts (seven doubles plus a singles court) and two seasonal outdoor courts, with competition-standard run-outs of at least two metres, show courts, and a 10m-plus roof. Game cameras are planned on four indoor courts for replay and debrief. If you play around Chester and want a full clubhouse destination rather than a couple of add-on courts, this is the one on the horizon from The Padel Club network (Trafford City, Gloucester Quays, Wilmslow and others).
Facilities
Across The Padel Club network you do not need membership to play — open courts book through the Playtomic app once a venue is live. The Society is the optional loyalty layer (launched as an app experience in July 2026): at established clubs such as Wilmslow it is typically a £150 annual subscription via Playtomic with perks like clubhouse and retail discounts, off-peak court discounts, member events, longer advance booking and more active bookings. Chester-specific Society pricing may follow the same pattern at launch; sign up on the Chester club page for opening alerts. Coaching, social mixes, WhatsApp player groups and corporate/brand experiences are part of the wider Padel Club model and should appear on Playtomic activities once Chester opens.
