Padel Sheds is Chester's indoor padel arena at Unit 1, Matrix Court (CH1 4QX), opened in 2025. Four panoramic courts sit under one roof with a coffee shop and bar alongside, so players can warm up, play, then stay for a drink without leaving the building. The club leans social as much as competitive: coaching for beginners through intermediate, Over 60s padel and coffee mornings, and Mums Padel sessions on Wednesdays. Pay-and-play keeps the barrier low for anyone trying the sport for the first time, while regulars get a proper club feel with clean courts, changing rooms, and staff who know the game.
Facilities
No membership required — flexible pay-and-play for casual bookings. Coaching includes group sessions from beginner to intermediate, private lessons with Head Coach Luis, and a Playbook Levels 1–4 intermediate course. Social options include Over 60s Padel & Coffee mornings (Tuesdays and Thursdays, £20 including coffee and pastries), free Over 60s tasters, and Wednesday Mums Padel & Coffee mornings with free tasters at 9:30am and paid follow-on sessions at £20. Equipment provided for coaching and social sessions.

Played squash for the last 40 years. Joints are starting to feel it. Padel great alternative. Not as aggressive on the body and a very sociable game. Great place to play with amazing facilities. Staff bring you an ice cold face towel when you come off court. Wonderful!
