Essendon Padel Club sits in the grounds of Essendon Country Club / Golf Club at Bedwell Park near Hatfield — two brand-new panoramic outdoor courts in a proper countryside country-club setting rather than an industrial padel shed. Playtomic bookings are open to members and guests, with a warm welcome at reception and the option to drop into the clubhouse afterwards for a drink or a meal. Reviews lean hard on the setting: excellent court condition, easy booking, plenty of parking, snacks and drinks by the courts, and a bar team that makes post-match linger worthwhile. It is aimed at players from Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City and the north London / Herts belt who want floodlit outdoor padel with hospitality attached. Arrive by car — stations are a short drive but the rural Bedwell Park location is not walk-up friendly.

Fantastic facility, courts are great and in a brilliant setting. Plenty of parking, booking process super easy and a warm welcome on arrival. Plenty of drinks and snacks available or drop into the clubhouse for a bite to eat. Will be back.

Excellent condition courts. Brilliant service. Lovely location. Booking was super easy and the staff were extremely welcoming. Enjoyed a drink in the stunning clubhouse after and the bar team were very helpful. Will definitely be returning.
