Hurlands

This place is worth a try! Toby was kind enough to show me around and I got to see the whole warehouse (see pictures) and the cafe as well as the top part where the yoga and HIIT studios are. I like their approach of not taking Memberships, they stand on the own merit of just you liking the experience and returning, that’s a plus! One thing I would change: the temperature in the courts is not controlled, so during winter (right now) it’s pretty chilly, and that can cause injuries, I wish they would add heating, not sure how practical it would be though. The cafe is lovely, and the servers even more so! I had a nice choco croissant and it was decent, they change the pastries every two days. They do pickleball too, not my ‘cuppa tea’ but you can see the courts in the pictures too. They sell various essentials for both padel and pickleball behind the counter at the entrance, in case you forgot your bat! They have an app called ‘Hurlands’ and they don’t use Playtomic, which is fine but one thing that Toby told me they are not doing yet but they should, is having a whatsapp to be able to make tourneys or matching games, which is an awesome way to find games if you are by yourself! I would sign up to that Toby! Overall - it’s a dope place to come play and chill afterwards (or vice-versa). I like the vibe and it seems they put a ton of effort in the quality of the courts (padel at least, what I can speak to). The floor is nice and the lighting is decent. One observation that my brother made about this place is the ceiling is a biiit low for padel, if you throw very high balloons, you will probably end up hitting the ceiling at some point during a match. I give it five stars cause I’m not sure if they will add heating in the future but I hope they do, that’s all this place needs to be a 5/5, now the cold makes it a 4.5 so I’ll still put 5.

Recently went to the supper club at hurlands. Was really impressed with the quality and variety of our meal. Lovely setting! Felt like I was getting a truly special service. Big shout out to Magda who made us feel very welcome and looked after us very kindly. Will definitely be back here for other foodie events!

We recently hosted a padel and networking event at Hurlands and, having visited several venues beforehand, we knew the moment we walked through the door that we had found the perfect location. From the outset, Olivia and Toby made the entire booking process incredibly easy. They were responsive, professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout. The facilities are excellent and the club has a real premium feel. The elevated mezzanine level provided a fantastic private space for our guests and also a perfect vantage point for watching the action on the padel courts below. Having both padel and pickleball courts on site is a real bonus and makes the venue suitable for a wide range of events and visitors. The event ran seamlessly, our attendees loved the venue, and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. If you are looking for a special, upmarket venue with great facilities and a welcoming team, look no further. We will certainly be returning in the near future. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience — we loved every moment! The atmosphere and aesthetics were fantastic, creating a really enjoyable environment from the moment we arrived. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, but Suzanne at reception was especially outstanding. Suzanne took the time to show my partner and me around, sharing her extensive knowledge and making us feel completely comfortable. She even checked in on us during our game to make sure everything was going well. Her level of care and attention truly went above and beyond. We've already recommended Hurlands to our friends and have rebooked for the weekend. We can't wait to come back!
