Membership & Pricing

The Bourne Club is a long-established members’ racket club on Frensham Road in Farnham, where tennis, squash, badminton, pickleball and gym life have been the backbone for decades. Padel is the newest chapter: two brand-new floodlit courts officially open on 9 February 2026, following upgrades to three tennis courts and marking a deliberate push into one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. The club pitches padel as a social, accessible addition rather than a bolt-on — box leagues, mix-ins, coaching for every level, ladders, teams and tournaments are all on the programme. Members describe approachable coaches and staff, a lively bar after matches and junior pathways that already make Bourne a family-friendly Surrey club. For Farnham and Aldershot players wanting padel inside a traditional multi-sport membership, Bourne is the local option.

Facilities

Padel sits inside Bourne’s membership structure rather than casual pay-and-play. Categories on the waiting list include Platinum, Silver, Gold and Young Adult (18–29). Join the membership waiting list on bourneclub.co.uk/membership and select Padel among tennis, squash, badminton, pickleball and gym options. Padel programmes will include organised social play, coaching pathways, box leagues and team tennis-style fixtures once the courts are live. Existing members can extend into padel as part of their racket club package. Contact information@bourneclub.co.uk or 01252 716144 for visitor enquiries or access requirements.

Just done a taster on the new Padel court here. Fantastic. With all the other facilities that the club has to offer and the friendly, approachable coaches & staff this is wonderful, local sports club.

I've been a member for a year now. Really friendly, well run and relaxed club. Excellent coaching. My children are not yet old enough to join in, but there seems to be lots of good coaching for juniors.

Been a member of the badminton club for half my life- nearly 20 years. Great options of days and evenings to play for both beginners and more experienced players, with the option of playing in the local leagues if you are more competitive. Having played in all the local venues the badminton hall itself i can categorically say it is by far the best I have played in(yes there are some small negatives such as it can be a little warm in the summer and cold in the winter) but can put up with that having 4 excellent courts, very good lighting and good colour scheme on the walls (no loosing the shuttle). Great shower facilities for after the game, then grab a drink at the bar with a comfortable and cosy seating to watch the latest sporting action on the TV...prioritising the tennis, otherwise it’s the footy, so you don’t miss any action.
