Rocks Lane Barnes Multi Sports Centre hosts four outdoor padel courts at Rocks Lane, Barnes, SW13 0BY — billed by the club as London’s largest and the UK’s busiest padel site within a long-running multi-sport hub that also covers tennis, football, netball, and kids’ activities. The padel offer sits beside a 300 m² clubhouse with café, licensed bar, soft play, changing rooms, and a racket testing centre. Courts are uncovered, so weather matters when you book. Playtomic runs all adult padel bookings; non-members get a 7-day window, members book further ahead. Academy coaching covers ages 5+, with socials mornings and evenings through the week. Easier by car than by rail — stations are not right next door.
Facilities
Pay-and-play via Playtomic (Rocks Lane - Barnes); adults must register on the app before playing. Non-members: book up to 7 days ahead; typical hire roughly £45–£70/hour depending on lights/time. Memberships (Bronze/Silver/Gold) via Playtomic — annual ongoing with auto-renew; cancel before renewal if needed. Silver-style perks include ~21-day booking, reduced outdoor rates (around £47/hr, ~£53 with floodlights), up to 6 active bookings / 3 per day, café tokens, member kit, and café credit (activate via barnes@rockslane.co.uk). Gold pushes booking to ~35 days, lower rates (~£40/£46 with lights), more concurrent bookings, larger café credit, and reciprocal benefits at Rocks Lane Chiswick. Academy: adult and junior courses, one-to-ones, intensives, holiday camps — book coaching under Academy on Playtomic; juniors also via rockslane.co.uk.

Padel socials are generally good. There’s one coach (Sunday evening this week) who doesn’t take it seriously though. If he managed the pairings by ranking and was more rigorous about timings the players would get more out of it.
Best hamburgers around the area. Fast and quality service by Ferran(chef) Shame it is only on Fridays :( Competitive price and best quality food. Definitely coming back
Plenty of padel courts and other sports too. They are uncovered & outdoor so just be mindful when booking in case of inclement weather. More easily accessibly by driving, stations are not in the immediate vicinity.
Great multi sports centre. Padel, tennis, football, netball, mini sports, children playground, etc.
SO SHOCKED! I attended for the first time with fellow tennis coaches, we work locally, for our Christmas outing. Our head coach booked padel court. We all came straight from work, one of whom has never played Padel before so explained the rules. Somehow that was interpreted as 'Coaching' so now we are BANNED from booking a court there because the 'Coaches' think 'coaching' was happening. The General Manager would not listen to us and blindly has accepted what a coach has said when it is absolute lies. Absolute Shambles of employees, Business and an embarrassment to tennis community.
