World Padel Academy Mansfield is WPA UK's dedicated padel venue next to One Call Stadium on Quarry Lane (NG18 5DA), home of Mansfield Town FC. Opened around November 2024 after a roughly £1m build, it put four covered courts under a tall canopy on land that used to sit idle beside the ground — so you get floodlit, year-round play without waiting for a dry outdoor slot. Booking windows run 60, 90 or 120 minutes from 7am to 10pm every day. The academy angle is real: junior programmes (including sessions that listened to home-ed families), adult academy blocks, and coach Hugo Da Silva for private, semi-private, group and ladies-only work. Reviews praise friendly staff, sensible pricing and a lively atmosphere with music on court. Court hire now runs through Padel Mates after a move off Playtomic that some regulars still grumble about.
Facilities
Open to everyone on a book-and-play basis; membership is not required to hire a court. Court rates commonly sit around £24–£48 per hour depending on time (off-peak can work out near £6 a head when split four ways). Book courts and coaching via Padel Mates. Performance Academies run as structured ~14-week programmes for juniors and adults, grouped by level, covering fundamentals through tactics. Junior Academy runs through term time; Adult Coaching and group sessions cover all experience levels. Private, semi-private, group and ladies-only coaching are all listed. Corporate wellness and events sit in the wider WPA offer if you want a company session.

We absolutely love WPA Junior Padel Academy in Mansfield! My son has been attending the Saturday and Sunday sessions for children aged 4–8, and he looks forward to them every week. He is fully engaged for the whole one-hour lesson, and it’s wonderful to see how much fun he has while learning and building confidence. What makes WPA really special is that they listened to the home education community and created dedicated sessions for home educated children. It’s such a thoughtful and inclusive idea, and it has made a real difference for families like ours. My son now attends both the weekend and home education sessions and loves them equally. It has been a fantastic opportunity for home educated children to meet, play, and stay active, and also a lovely space for home mums, dads, and carers to connect and chat while the children enjoy their lesson. We are really grateful to WPA for creating such a welcoming and positive environment. We highly recommend it to any family looking for a fun and engaging activity for their child in Mansfield.

Absolutely gutted you have left PlayTomic because I’ll be honest Padel Mates app is absolutely dog sh** and I don’t even want to attempt to book a game through it plus there’s hardly any other clubs on the padel mates app … it’s just Mansfield so you’re limited to who you can play to just Mansfield Members … Just wanted to write this review to say please get back on Playtomic, I’m not the only one that wants Mansfield WPA back on there
