That Padel Club Tuxford is the sister site to That Padel Club Newark, a new-build indoor padel venue at Unit 40C on Ollerton Road (NG22 0PQ) aimed at stylish, high-ceiling play rather than a bolted-on leisure-centre court. Players describe three doubles courts and one singles court that bounce true, with mega-high ceilings that actually let you lob. Access is via a door code sent when you book online — useful to know before your first visit — and free on-site parking makes the rural Newark/Tuxford location workable. Hours are long (roughly 5:30am–11pm weekdays, from 6am weekends). Coach and manager Ryan gets strong reviews for friendliness and knowledge. Book exclusively through Playtomic; same brand tagline as Newark: Game. Set. Social.

Sign up via the Playtomic club memberships. Non-members can still book courts pay-as-you-play. As a beginner, I go with my 2 daughters purely for a bit of fun. Lovely open new build with parking onsite. Rackets are free to use up to a certain time. We tend to go in the morning for an hour. Friendly staff who are always willing to help. You can purchase your balls on site for £7 then just bring them when you visit. Have different sessions available to learn the rules and how to play properly and they also do competitions if your up for it. You're sent a code to enter the building when you book online. Worth a visit.
Fantastic club with great staff. Coach/Manager (Ryan) is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Mega high ceilings which helps and all facilities spotlessly clean. Courts play perfectly with 3 doubles and a singles courts. Great friendly atmosphere whether you are a seasoned player or just starting out.
The padel facility is very good, although sadly I suspect just too expensive for families to regularly participate (£48 for 90 minutes). This is a shame as exercise is so important. Some confusion also about whether balls and rackets needed to be hired. This appeared to add about another £20 on top. However, when we got there others left the ones belonging the club after use, so we used these (although this may not always be the case). Building was unsupervised when we attended and the bar facility was therefore closed. I saw this irritated others attending, especially after their game ended. Some were also unsure how to get in the building. Luckily this wasn't our first time so could advise. Would have concerns about issues in an emergency (medical, evacuation etc) as building not supervised. Emergency contact details not obvious either, including assembly point. Perhaps just missed this info. No hand dryer in toilets just a hand towel (no thanks!) It was about 18c outside when we attended both times and building was quite warm to play in already. A hot summers day could get very uncomfortable. No obvious HVAC in place.
