That Padel Club Newark is the brand's first site, on Whittle Close in Newark-on-Trent (NG24 2DY). It is a purpose-built covered padel venue with four doubles courts under a domed portal-frame roof, so play continues through wet East Midlands weather. The club leans hard into the social side: outdoor seating, a bar, a raised viewing platform, even a darts board and outdoor heater for cooler evenings. Reviews talk about a friendly atmosphere, a small bar, and coaching that helps complete beginners stick with the game. Opening hours are long, typically from about 5:30am to 11pm, which suits early risers and late evening doubles. That Padel Club also runs a second site at Tuxford, but Newark remains the original community hub for regular play, events and private hire.

I’ve been playing at the Newark padel club for around 8 months now after never having played padel before, and I’ve absolutely loved it from day one. The club has such a friendly atmosphere and it’s genuinely become one of my favourite places to be. A massive thank you as well to Nick Jones, the resident coach, who has been brilliant. His coaching sessions, socials and coached matches have really helped build my confidence and made me enjoy the game more and more each week. He’s patient, encouraging and great at making everyone feel welcome, whatever level you are. I’m now completely padel obsessed thanks to the club and the people there.
