Padel at The Barns at Wellington sits on the Wellington Estate at Stratfield Saye in Hampshire, part of a countryside health and fitness club rather than a standalone padel barn. There are two high-spec courts — one indoor and one outdoor — so play runs through the seasons, including evening sessions under high-spec lighting. Access for adults is membership-led, which keeps the courts quieter than busy public centres and fits the club’s calm, rural feel. Members also use the gym, classes, cryotherapy and infrared sauna on the same site. The padel programme includes beginner through advanced courses and drill sessions, with a social atmosphere that regulars often mention alongside the countryside setting.
Facilities
Padel court access for adults is via Barns membership. Peak membership (from about £70/month on a 12-month plan, or lower with upfront payment) includes unlimited gym use, 14-day advanced booking for classes and padel courts, member events, infrared sauna, shower access, class discounts, 20% off cryotherapy, and family discounts. Off Peak membership (from about £55/month on 12 months) covers gym use 9am–4pm Monday–Friday, 7-day advanced booking for classes and padel, member events, sauna, class and cryotherapy discounts. Very poor service, drove over an hour to play, the code supplied would not allow us to enter and we waited for over 10 minutes, lights turn off 5 minutes after booking end dispute being delayed 10 minutes to enter
