Membership & Pricing
Rye Lawn Tennis Club is a multi-sport members' club on Military Road in East Sussex with some of the best facilities on the south coast: eight grass tennis courts, three clay courts, two floodlit padel courts, two squash courts, croquet, table tennis, a gym and a lively clubhouse bar. Padel has become a centrepiece of club life with growing leagues, championships and charity marathons alongside traditional tennis socials. The sport suits newcomers — walls keep rallies alive and introductory coaching is open to non-members. Members book padel through ClubSpark with no per-court fees (a small floodlight levy applies in winter). Guests can taste padel up to four times a year before committing to full membership spanning tennis, padel, squash and more.
Facilities
Annual membership April–March with pro-rated fees from June; categories for combined sports or individual disciplines, concessions for under-30s, junior parents and members living 40+ miles away. Members: no court fees for padel (small floodlight charge in darker months), full clubhouse access. Guests: up to four visits per year — padel with a member £10 adult / £5 child per 90 minutes; without a member £36 per court per 90 minutes (pay via QR code before play). Non-members can book taster group coaching or enter many open tournaments. Contact info@ryelawntennisclub.org.uk for tours.

Joining Rye has simply been quite life changing! I’m a tennis player but tried padel on holiday in France… I just knew I had to find somewhere to continue playing in the UK. Well worth the 40 minute drive to join this wonderfully friendly and great fun padel crowd… It’s been brilliant! Then I got seduced by the fabulous grass tennis courts and all the fun events so joined for tennis too! Don’t hesitate…it’s a fantastic club!
A great place for Tennis and other racquet sports including squash and Table Tennis. Great facilities and a variety of memberships to suite your needs. Coaching is a number of sports available by arrangement.
Great club, community feeling, you can play Tennis, Pádel, Squash or Ping Pong, Bar is also available.
Great courts. Infrequent user of the grass courts but a fab club to be a member of.
Very friendly Padel and Tennis club. A pleasure to join
