Sandylands Sports Centre (Coulthurst Craven Sports Centre) is Skipton’s main community sports hub on Carleton New Road / Engine Shed Lane (BD23 2AZ), a non-profit charity attracting over 200,000 visits a year. Padel on this campus is delivered by Skipton Tennis Centre, which sits on the Sandylands site and runs three floodlit padel courts: one open outdoor court (The OG) plus two canopied covered courts built in a £300k+ Phase 1 project completed around autumn 2024. Reviews praise the padel quality and pricing. Beyond padel, Sandylands offers a FIFA-rated 3G pitch, sports halls, glass-backed squash, gym/fitness suite, inclusive disability facilities and children’s parties — so a family can mix sports in one visit.
