Membership & Pricing

Sporty Scholars runs Milton Keynes’s first pop-up padel court at Stantonbury Leisure Centre (Soskin Drive / Stantonbury Fields, MK14 area). It is a temporary outdoor setup rather than a permanent glass-walled club — marketed as an accessible way to try padel in MK for hire and adult social sessions. Court hire is listed at £30 per hour for singles or doubles via Playtomic. Social padel slots (mixed, beginners, intermediate) run on set evenings and Saturday mornings when not paused for winter. Contact is through Sporty Scholars (+44 7511 194319 / hello@sportyscholars.com). Expect a leisure-centre outdoor pitch, not a full indoor padel destination.

Facilities

No club membership required — book court hire or join social competitions in Playtomic. Join the Sporty Scholars Facebook padel group for community updates. Pay-per-session socials have limited places. Sporty Scholars also runs kids camps, swim and other programmes on the wider site, but padel here is court hire plus adult socials.

Is a joke that they charge you £30 x hour for a plastic floor and broken rackets, if you looking to play properly not recommend it at all, hope they can invest in a proper flooring.

Good to have a padel court in MK. This is however much different than the standard court pretty much anywhere. The floor is not good, is misaligned and impacts the play of the game. Also no reception nearby and staff unresponsive to queries. Please update the floor.

This is embarrassing charging £45 for 90 mins- awful quality and nothing secured down so court has moved. Covered in wet leaves and no lights. Took payment in advance to play until 4:30pm but no lights on and had to leave at 4pm- I want a refund.

Spent a fortune to play padel in MK and I was very disappointed when I realised that the floor was made of plastic tiles. The booking included rackets and balls and we only found one old ball and 4 well-used and broken rackets. The court does not have a cover, so it is impossible to play in the rain. I recommend the courts in Northampton instead, they are covered, with a proper flooring, and cheaper! Very disappointing experience.

As others have said, this is not a proper padel court, merely a pop up. The flooring is uneven and worn, leading to uneven bounces and dead spots. It's also increasingly dangerous, particularly when wet. Play here only if desperate and you can't travel to a proper court. Also overcharging for what it is. Hopefully they bring in some real courts soon.
