AS Salindres Tennis is a long-established club at the Tour de Becamel within the Yves-Comte municipal sports complex, celebrating fifty years of tennis in the commune with around 250 licensed members. Two outdoor padel courts with plexiglass walls were added at the complex entrance after an 18-month club-funded project, joining five tennis courts, a summer pool, city stadium, gym equipment and football pitches. Coach Adeline Matias-Deleuze completed padel training to launch year-round lessons for all ages. The club balances competitive junior tournaments on the tennis side with growing padel demand from Alès Cévennes players.
Facilities
Club membership gives access to tennis and padel facilities; court hire for padel is booked via the Salindres Tennis Padel app within the daily 07:30–22:30 window. Non-members should check current guest policies with the committee before arriving — the club prioritises registered members during busy tournament weekends. A really great, vibrant club! I'm not a member, but as a resident of Salindres, I regularly pass by the club, and I wanted to acknowledge the excellent recent improvements. The two new plexiglass padel courts and the tennis courts are truly superb! The club seems to have a great atmosphere, with qualified coaches and motivated young players. It really makes you want to join. Well done to the club team for their dynamism!

The exchange isn't popular, even when the courts aren't in use. Friendliness is lacking either. It's a shame for newcomers who simply wanted to hit a few balls with their families but are kicked out as if they were going to vandalize a court. It's easy to see why French tennis remains so insular and elitist. Good luck.
