Soccer Team is a multi-sport indoor hall on Avenue des Frères Lumière in Alès, better known locally for five-a-side football than padel — but three panoramic glass padel courts now draw a steady racket crowd. The complex also runs squash courts and a bar-restaurant where teams wait between matches. Booking goes through the Soccer Team mobile app (LiveXperience). Management has added cooling for summer heat, though squash still gets uncomfortable in July and August according to long-term members. The padel lanes sit in the same friendly, family-welcoming atmosphere as the futsal pitches: fair prices, helpful staff, and big screens for match nights.
Facilities
Padel booked through the Soccer Team app — recent players report around eleven euros per player online for a slot, but balls (about eight euros) and racket hire (about three euros each) are charged separately at reception and are not always shown at checkout. Budget roughly sixteen to twenty euros per person all-in if you need gear. Futsal pitches around seventy euros per hour. Contact reception on 04 66 24 53 59 if the app is unclear — non-French speakers sometimes book by phone with staff help.

What a rip-off! When booking padel online, you pay €11 for your spot, but once you arrive, surprise: you have to pay another €8 for balls and €3 more per racket! None of this is mentioned when you book, and of course, no refund is possible. You end up having to pay more just to play. The receptionist, faced with our astonishment, remained nonchalant and assumed we should have known. In the end, it cost us €66 instead of the €44 advertised online.
A very nice sports facility. I visited and appreciated the efforts of the management to make the "Soccer Team" area even more functional. The pitches are high quality. The staff are excellent and attentive. I highly recommend it.
Fair prices. Friendly owner. Good overall atmosphere. The food is a plus, but be aware that it's not their main focus (limited stock; limited seating capacity). Children are welcome. Too hot in the summer (squash unplayable in July/August) despite management's efforts.
