BASF Tennisclub e.V. on Weiherstraße in Ludwigshafen is one of the Rhineland-Palatinate region's largest multi-sport clubs, tracing its roots to 1932. Despite the name, the club is open to everyone — not only BASF employees — and pitches itself as a modern home for tennis, padel, soccer, boule and community sport. The campus spans 23 outdoor tennis courts, five indoor tennis courts, seven padel courts, a soccer cage, two boule lanes and a multi-use court, plus gastronomy and seminar rooms. Padel has grown quickly here through a partnership with PadelBase Ludwigshafen, with coaching camps, after-work sessions and inclusive events alongside Special Olympics. The scale and booking infrastructure make it a reference club for players across the Rhine-Neckar area.
Facilities
No membership is required to play padel — register on Playtomic and book like any visitor. Hourly padel rates run €20 for full members (Tariff A), €25 for company-sport, secondary and fan members (Tariff B), and €30 for non-members (Tariff C), applying to outdoor summer, indoor summer and indoor winter slots from 06:00–24:00 daily. The programme includes padel camps, after-work play and coached sessions. Full club membership opens tennis training from balls school to performance squads, health sport and event access. Nice atmosphere, good selection of food on the menu, I choose I Caesar salad with shrimp that was delicious. Reasonably priced. Will come again.
I have eaten at the Tennis club a couple of times now and have always had a great time. The food is very good, maybe a bit more expensive than usual but the portion sizes are big! Very friendly staff and a good ambiance! Happy go recommend a trip to eat here!

We played on the outdoor padel courts. They are new and nice.
