Skiclub Ludwigshafen am Rhein e.V. is a long-established multi-sport club on Heuweg in Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate. Despite the name, the club is as much a tennis and summer-sports hub as a ski association, with alpine trips, youth ski schools, and a mountain hut complementing activities at the home ground. Padel arrived as a single outdoor court that members and guests book through Playtomic, with free registration on the app. Recent players praise the friendly, family atmosphere, well-kept grounds, and the fact that rented padel rackets are included in the court fee. The wider site lists seven outdoor tennis courts, beach volleyball, football, hiking and cycling meet-ups from the clubhouse, plus children's ball school and external tennis coaching through Tennis-Schule Seifert. For Ludwigshafen residents who want padel inside a traditional Verein setting rather than a commercial padel hall, this is a compact, community-run option.
Facilities
Padel court reservations run exclusively through Playtomic or its mobile app; club membership is not required for padel bookings. Create a free Playtomic account, search Skiclub Ludwigshafen, and select the floodlit padel court in the calendar (Playtomic shows availability from 08:00 to 23:00). Played padel tennis, beautiful facility, clean, and the rented rackets were absolutely fine, highly recommended.
A fantastic, friendly tennis and ski club with an outdoor padel court that's really fun to play on. The atmosphere at the club is very welcoming and family-like!
Well-organized. Diverse sports offerings. Beautiful, well-maintained facilities. Cozy clubhouse with a large terrace. Especially good youth tennis coaching. Beginners are also well-cared for.
Simply fantastic! I spent my youth there with my best friends. Now our little one goes to ball school at the Ludwigshafen Ski Club and is always incredibly excited for every lesson. Keep it up! 👍
