PadelBase Ludwigshafen is a dedicated padel centre at Weiherstraße 39 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, run in partnership with BASF Tennisclub e.V. The project positions itself as the main padel hub for Ludwigshafen and the surrounding Rhine-Neckar region, with four newly built outdoor courts and two indoor courts open year-round. You do not need to be a tennis-club member to book a court; Playtomic handles reservations and sends facility access codes by email after payment. Since 2024 the BASF Tennisclub has fielded padel teams in league competition, and the site runs weekly Afterwork Padel sessions, coaching camps, and open tournaments to help newcomers find playing partners. Visitors consistently rate the modern, well-maintained complex and the Club Haus restaurant terrace as among the best in the area.
Facilities
Book any court through Playtomic by saving PadelBase Ludwigshafen as a favourite club. Hourly rates on lu-tennis.de are 20 euros for BASF Tennisclub members (Tarif A), 25 euros for company-sport, secondary and fan members (Tarif B), and 30 euros for non-members (Tarif C), applying equally to outdoor summer, indoor summer, and indoor winter slots from 06:00 to 24:00. No membership is required to play. Weekly open-play formats on Playtomic include Americana Thursdays (around 15 euros), Queen of the Court ladies sessions, and King of the Court tournaments (around 20 euros). by far the best Padel Club in the region, with so many amenities and an amazing restaurant, the Club Haus. The terrace is for sure the best place after a good padel match!
