Lisboa Racket Centre on Rua Alferes Malheiro in Alvalade is Portugal's pioneering padel address, claiming the country's first padel courts and school more than a decade ago with over 350 students on the books. The lrc.pt campus spreads across a leafy outdoor complex with seven padel courts that have hosted World Padel Tour, APT, European and national championship matches featuring stars such as Fernando Belasteguín and Carolina Navarro. Under new ownership linked to Cristiano Ronaldo's padel investments, the club is converting former tennis space into additional padel capacity, including covered courts with strong lighting but a lower roof that can limit lob play according to recent player feedback. Beyond padel the centre still runs fast-court tennis, five squash courts, Lisbon's first pickleball setup, a swimming pool, the LRC Performance Lab gym and a terrace bar-restaurant. The venue remains a central Alvalade hub for racket sport with qualified international coaches and reception on recepcao@lrc.pt.
Facilities
Padel court hire and lessons through lrc.pt, reception on 218 460 232 or 932 901 968, and padel coordinator borjagerona@lrc.pt. Club open Monday to Friday 07:00 to midnight and weekends 09:00 to 20:00 with bar matching weekday hours. Tennis, squash, pickleball and fitness memberships run alongside pay-as-you-play padel. Prices have risen under recent management according to member reviews; book early for peak padel slots and tournaments that fill the calendar.

It has pool and nice terrace restaurant. I like the staff a lot ❤️ however recently they are diminishing their tennis court by converting them for paddle…
Used to be a great club. Wonderfull infrastructure, great location. Unfortunately it was bought by CR7 and the current management is a complete disaster. 100% focused on Padel, not anymore a pleasant place for Tennis players. Number of courts have been reduced to build additional Padel courts, always full with Padel tournaments. Maybe it is still a great club for Padel, but for Tennis players, my only advise is: look for another place... The prices increased by at least 20% and the conditions are much worse than before. The restaurant is another disaster, but to be fair, it has always been... it was (almost) the only thing that they would need to change, but it was one of the ones that they didn't... No one reply to e-mails, no onde explains what is happening with the club... a total disrespect towards the club members.
Padel courts has good lighting (finally, too many courts in lisbon has cheap strobing lights), but, unfortunately the roof is way to low. Nowhere near meters, something like 5 and sloping. Can't properly play padel here
This used to be a great tennis club in the center of Lisbon. Not anymore. Since the great soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo bought the club, several tennis courts have been replaced by padel courts, that are ALWAYS empty. The tennis courts continue to be full and the tennis coaches are always in demand, but the physical space for tennis is being neglected. The tennis courts are poorly maintained and it is sad to see what once was a thriving tennis hub in the center of Lisbon being totally destroyed by a club administration that does not respect the tennis game.
Amazing club! Me and my girlfriend flew to Lisbon from Germany for vacations. Found this awesome club, they rent rackets (Blade and Ultra), nice people and easy booking with the app. The tennis courts were pretty good and the restaurant was also good to chill and had a nice brunch.
