Txurrukako Kirol Pistak is the municipal sports park in Trapagaran's Txurruka neighbourhood, run by the town hall rather than a private club. The site groups padel courts alongside tennis courts and a fronton in an open-air setting on Mendipe. It suits local players who want affordable access without joining a commercial centre. The Basque sports facilities census lists wall-type padel courts here, and visitor reviews describe three padel pitches that are decent for a free public facility, though lighting and nets can be hit-or-miss. The municipal website trapagaran.net was unreachable during research, so booking rules should be confirmed with the ayuntamiento.

Facilities

Use is aimed at Trapagaran residents. Court time is free or heavily subsidised for empadronados, but a resident must make the booking and at least one player in the group typically needs to live in the municipality. Non-residents cannot reliably reserve online based on recent visitor reports. Contact the town hall on 944 92 04 11 or ayuntamiento@trapagaran.net for current rules, availability, and how to book. Google lists the site as open around the clock, but practical access may follow local schedules.

For being free, it's pretty good. The lights are never turned on, and the net on one of the padel courts is down, but otherwise, it's very nice. Update: Apparently, it's only free for residents of Trapagaran. Therefore, you can only make a reservation if one of the players is a resident of the municipality and makes the reservation. The information on the town hall website is outdated, as it's from 2014.

Waiting for the requested and planned roofing works. Priority for the town's neighborhoods would be good, as would better access and use control.
