Membership & Pricing

Risbygate Padel sits at Risbygate Sports Club on Westley Road in Bury St Edmunds (IP33 3RR). The club brought padel to the town in September 2023 with two floodlit all-weather outdoor courts — among Suffolk’s first permanent padel facilities. It is a multi-sport club (tennis, squash, bowls, pétanque and more) with parking, bar and changing rooms, so padel sits inside a proper clubhouse culture rather than a standalone cage. Court hire, coaching and social Americano sessions are open to members and non-members. Rackets and balls are free to borrow; wear grippy sports shoes. Contact admin@risbygatesportsclub.co.uk or the office on 01284 755468; padel secretary Jon Kydd on 07775 798757.

Facilities

Annual Padel membership is £130 for 2026/7 (plus court fees when you play); Racket Sports Full is £250 and also carries padel court fees. Junior and student discounts apply (70% / 50%). Multi-section joining can attract further discounts per club rules. Non-members book the same courts online. Social Americanos cost £5 per person for members and £10 for non-members. Membership year for racket sports runs 1 April–31 March; join via the online or downloadable form and BACS. Members and guests use the club booking portal (separate member/non-member links).

Really nice brand new Padel courts. There are two courts available which can be booked even by a non-member. The club hosts multiple Americano sessions throughout the week where every participant plays with all other players which is nice and social!

Great little padel club. Good players, two outdoor courts, parking, bar, changing.
