Membership & Pricing

PDL Padel United Colchester sits on Eudo Road (CO2 7XE) beside Shrub End fields — an outdoor padel hub for Essex with a relaxed social feel. The venue has grown beyond its original three panoramic courts: Playtomic now lists four named doubles courts plus a dedicated singles court (The Lambert Chapman Court), giving five outdoor courts in total. Gate access uses a code from the booking confirmation. Free parking is plentiful, free racket hire comes with a booking, and a cabin/café-style area covers tea, coffee, snacks and kit. Venue manager Kai (07960 716465) handles enquiries. Coaching covers beginner and intermediate group sessions, and the club sits among the more accessible pay-and-play options in Colchester compared with members-only country-club courts nearby.

Great option for Padel! Plenty of free parking, easy to book and pay via the app, hire racquets, friendly, helpful staff and even coffee & tea options inside. Has a relaxed, social vibe and highly recommend it!

Plenty of parking. Friendly players. Well looked after. Free to use rackets and balls. Recommend using the app Platomic to book. There is a code key for the gate. The number is on the booking email. Which took us some time to figure out.

Parking and toilets on site plus cabin to borrow balls and rent racquets - staff are always super friendly and helpful!

Last weekend, during a lawn tennis tournament, I accidentally left my shoes in the dressing room. When I called the facility, I was informed that the shoes had been found and that I could arrange for someone to collect them, as I live far away. However, when my contact arrived, the staff refused to hand them over—despite a live video call clearly identifying the shoes, my detailed description of where I left them, and even a photo of me wearing them. I completely understand the need for security protocols, but the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily inflexible and dismissive. It’s not about the shoes—they’re old—but about the lack of consideration shown in resolving a simple issue.

Great padel centre with 4-5 courts and 1 singles court! There is a cafe on site where you can buy snacks, drinks, balls and equipment. There is also toilets on site and parking. It's also set in the middle of shrub end field, so a great spot to walk your dog as well
