Membership & Pricing

PDL Padel United Maldon is a dedicated padel club in Essex (CM9 5UR) with four courts: three covered and one panoramic outdoor. It sits beside a leisure centre and draws a busy regular crowd — evening slots fill fast, which says a lot about the social scene. The club runs under the wider Padel United UK network and books through Playtomic, so you can reserve courts and classes from the app. Staff keep the surfaces in good nick, free racket hire is available, and there is a café and licensed bar with seating when you want a drink after a match. Coaching runs on Mondays and Thursdays across beginner through advanced levels, with private sessions on request. Expect a friendly, community-led venue rather than a polished hotel spa — popular, practical, and built around affordable play.

Facilities

Pay and play is open to everyone. Annual adult membership is £100; senior membership (60+) is £75, both sold via Playtomic under Memberships. Members get lower court rates: off-peak £19/court (£4.75 pp), peak £25.20 (£6.30), weekends £12.60 (£3.15). Non-members pay £28 / £38 / £21 for the same bands. Peak bookings are 90 minutes only; off-peak allows 60 or 90 minutes. Group coaching by level runs Mondays (beginner, expert, intermediate) and Thursdays (amateur, advanced); book under Classes on Playtomic. Private coaching via club contact.

Great venue to play padel. 3 covered outdoor courts and 1 uncovered. They work hard to maintain playing surface is in good condition and have a really nice friendly community of regular players, hence why its popular and difficult to find evening spare courts.

Car park lets this place down. Far too small, you queue up for a space and that means you miss that start of you bookkng or course. Friendly staff, good coaches and nice undercover courts at good price just really let down by car park

Amazing staff who create a warm and friendly atmosphere, 3 covered courts and one outside, you can have a beer and sit down in the seating area, a great place to go and play padel

Guy at reception was very helpful Good venue and the paddle bat was free to hire which is unlike some of the paddle venues I have been to in London

I’ve been having lessons with Kai which have been great and really enjoyable. He explains everything really well and is super patient which has really helped with my confidence. Highly recommend, everyone who attends the club seems super friendly and kind too!
