Membership & Pricing
Hazlemere Tennis & Padel Club sits on the recreation ground off Amersham Road in High Wycombe and now runs tennis and padel side by side. Two floodlit padel courts opened in June 2025 past the tennis courts and Memorial Hall, so the club is still in its first year of padel — they are even marking the anniversary with an open tournament in August 2026. It is a traditional LTA Clubspark club rather than a warehouse padel centre: five artificial clay tennis courts, social tennis, teams, and a growing padel programme of coaching blocks, monthly Intro to Padel Sundays, WhatsApp player groups, mix-ins, a free club padel league, and Padel & a Pint socials at the Memorial bar. Rackets and balls live in the bench seats so pay-and-play visitors can turn up without kit. Reviews praise the facilities and fair hire rates; one earlier dispute around court handover appears to have been sorted according to a later update from the same players.
Facilities
Padel is included in club membership at discounted court rates. Members book padel three weeks ahead at £20 per court/hour; non-members book about one to two weeks ahead at £30/hour via Clubspark or the ClubSpark Booker app (free LTA account required for non-members). Guests on a member booking add £2.50 each. Cancel up to one hour before for a refund. Contact padel@hazlemeretennis.co.uk for league and padel queries, padelcoaching@hazlemeretennis.co.uk for coaching vouchers, or clubsecretary@hazlemeretennis.co.uk for tennis socials.

Normally love playing padel here. Leave feeling really good every time. We were on set and match point and it was 18:28. We battled it out for 2 minutes when a very short man stormed on the court yelling at us to get off. No manors, massively confrontational (I don’t know if he was trying to impress his lady partner probably didn’t work..). I replied to this with telling him to calm down a bit and we will leave no problems at all. He then continues his outburst by making crying noises and goading us. Which I said you’re being a bit childish now leave it out. He still continues the baby crying noises until we are gone. The club secretary was also playing with them and thought this is an appropriate way to conduct yourself to other users of the courts which amazed me. We are polite normal padel players just there for some fun. So if you want to be harassed by a small 59 year old angry man who thinks he is just about to take his karate class for the U12s sign up to hazlemere padel! What a weird weird place!
Update - since writing this, we have not had an issue with the same group of people. It does seem as though the matter has been dealt with. We have come back to playing here, as mentioned the facilities are good and the rental cost is fair compared to other sites. Really shocked and disappointed after having a bad experience with the padel club players and secretary. We have been playing here for months as the facilities are really good, booking is easy and we have set up a family group to get together weekly. This evening as we were finishing our match point, a much older man who is part of the club came onto the court aggressively and demanded that we get off the court. Our hour slot had just finished, we left immediately asking him to calm down but he continued being confrontational and even started making crying noises at us. Rather than the club secretary questioning his behaviour which was intimidating and childish, she announced that she was the club secretary and we weren’t within our right to tell him to calm down. As four young adults who use this weekly slot for fun and to check in with each other, it was really upsetting to have older adults berating us and shouting at us. It’s a real shame but we will now use Holmer Green instead.
Really nice courts and friendly people. Thanks to Eric for taking time out his day to show us how to use tennis machine! Get value for money.
